Hostage UK was established by people with direct experience of kidnapping who understand the needs of hostages and their families. Our work is overseen by a dedicated team of Trustees who play an active role in our day-to-day work.

Hostage UK benefits immensely from the contribution of our Members, who also have experience of kidnapping, and who generously give their time to support our activities and the people we help.

Hostage UK is privileged to draw on the help and expertise of our Principal Advisors who are world-renowned professionals in their field. We also employ a team of dedicated Staff, who co-ordinate our pastoral work, education and training, and are the first point of contact for families.
